  • Took part in the process of M&A, Strategic Alliances and Joint Venture agreements the Techint Group faced, first in the privatization of Argentine state enterprises and later in the globalization in the areas of Tubes and flat steel up to 2006.
  • Was part of the task-force Siderca sent to Mexico to take control over Tamsa. In 1993 he made his first strategic alliance with Tamsa, known today as Tenaris.
  • Took part in Sidor’s due diligence in Venezuela (1998). This was Siderar’s first international acquisition in its road of expansion to what is known today as Ternium.
  • From the vice-presidency in the Steel Tube area, he negotiated USA’s CVD and Dumping defense, and protected the internal markets of Mexico, Italy and Argentina.
  • Formed part of the Vice-presidency in the area of Flat Steel products and Energy.
  • In 2000 he was invited to be part of the Presidency of the Techint Group.
  • In 2003, from Siderar’s Planning Management, he led a programme to support those Small and Medium Companies customers and suppliers of the Techint Group, according to the increase of exports and substitution of imports of its value chain, which was later known as ProPymes.
  • Protagonist in the creation of sectorial and regional associative groups leaning towards the regeneration of the industrial network.
  • Negotiator in commercial disagreements at a National and International level.
  • From Argentine’s Industrial Union he analyzed value chains in the Mining Industry, Auto parts, Capital Goods and Naval Industry.
  • President of the Union of Naval Industry Suppliers. (2006-8)
  • Member of Executive Committee, Federation of Naval Industry (2006-8)
  • Vice-president of the Association of Argentine’s Auto-parts manufactures.
  • Counselor and cofounder of Mercoparts.
